EVERYTHING SEASONING

EVERYTHING ENCRUSTED SALMON OVER BLACK RICE AND AVOCADO SALAD

INGREDIENTS:

​Salmon:

  • ½ cup TOFG Everything Seasoning

  • 4 6oz Salmon filets, skin on

  • 1 tbsp TOFG Garlic Butter Seasoning

  • Olive Oil

Avocado Salad:

  • 2 ripe Avocados

  • 4 medium tri-colored Carrots 

  • 1 whole container Cherry Tomatoes

  • 1 Jalapeno, seeded

  • 1 White Onion, chopped

  • 2 tbsp tamari 

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

Black Rice:

  • 1 Cup black rice

  • Chicken broth

  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced

  • 3 Green Onions, chopped

  • Generous amount of black pepper

  • Salt to taste 

  • Drizzle of olive oil (about 1 tablespoon)

INSTRUCTIONS:

Salad:

  1. Chop avocados, carrots, tomatoes, jalapeno, onion, and place into a medium sized mixing bowl. Add in tamari, salt, and pepper. Mix well. Place in the fridge until ready to serve. 

Salmon:

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. Coat salmon filets in olive oil and a generous amount of everything seasoning on the top of filet.

  3. Coat the bottom of a large, oven safe skillet in olive oil and 1 tablespoon of TOFG Garlic Butter Seasoning. Heat over medium-high heat until “shimmering”.

  4. Place filets in the skillet, seasoned side down for 3-4 min. Flip salmon and cook for an additional 1-2 min. Place the pan in the heated oven for 6-8 min or until the salmon is fully cooked. Serve immediately. 

Black Rice: 

  1. Cook according to the package. Optional: replace water with chicken broth for a more vibrant flavor.

  2. Add in olive oil, minced garlic, green onions, and salt and pepper to taste. 


Enjoy layering black rice, avocado salad, and salmon on top!
